As the US Consumer Industry Leader for Deloitte Consulting, LLP, I help companies build stronger customer loyalty and experiences, transform their enterprise, and disrupt the traditional boundaries of competition. Prior to my current role, I led the US Deloitte Digital business for Deloitte Consulting, LLP and served as the National Business Unit Leader for the Customer & Marketing business. In over 27 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of teaming with some of the most innovative companies and business thinkers across various sectors, with a consistent goal of challenging myself and others to pursue bold strategies and achieve outstanding results. Although my first priorities have always been serving clients and leading teams, I also champion the importance of lifelong learning and helping people reach their full human potential. That’s part of the reason that I recently assumed the role of Executive Leader for Project120, a $1.4 billion investment in advancing technology and leadership skills for our people. I have also served as the Co-Dean of Deloitte’s LEAD Program, a yearlong development program for new U.S. Partners, & Managing Directors, as well as Co-Dean of the Art of the Story program. I believe strongly in the need for integrating the human connection in all aspects of our business. When you bring people to the center of your strategy and decision making, and support their personal and professional needs, better business outcomes result. I believe it's time to shift learning and development from static, pre-defined curriculum to dynamic, experience-based learning personalized and customized for individuals. I am also a passionate believer in the importance of emotionally intelligent leadership, and have published pieces on this topic and Mindful Leadership in The Wall Street Journal, The American Business Journal and in various interviews, including one on Sirius XM’s Business Radio Powered by The Wharton School. I reside in New Jersey with my wife, Elizabeth, and our five wonderful children and we are committed to developing our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. In my spare time, I am an active volunteer in my local community and a voracious reader. I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Albright College.
