About

I am passionate about people development! My interest in learning & development started in undergraduate school when I took my first industrial organizational psychology course. I absolutely love when organizations are intentional about developing employees & the communities they serve. My career in L&D began in 2006 & it was the most fulfilling career decision I ever made. I have 15+ years of experience working in the learning & development arena & I have been blessed to work in different capacities. I have experience planning & implementing initiatives from conception to completion. I am a self-starter with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. In addition, I have experience with staffing, budgeting, & managing personnel as well. I am innovative & creative! #EducatorAtHeart Subject Matter Expertise: Curriculum Design/Learning & Development: I provide vision & leadership in defining, creating, & implementing an instructional framework that supports the learning objectives of the various audiences. Ultimately, I develop programs that lead to equitable learner outcomes & transformation, while providing a positive ROI for business clients and the communities served. Teaching/Training: A constant throughout my career is having a love for teaching/training. I have facilitated in many different types of institutions of higher education, K-12 schools (parents, students, and administrators), for non-profits, and corporate audiences. Coaching: Becoming a certified Life Coach has been a highlight in my career. I have experience coaching 1:1 and in groups. I work directly with clients to assist them with creating goals, recommending additional resources that will contribute positively to their growth trajectory, and ensuring that clients take steps to reach their goals and holding them accountable. Consulting: Highly experienced in ensuring the needs of clients are understood and creating the scope of work for each consulting project that will meet those needs. I gather additional data and insights from consulting clients via research and surveys. I pride myself on creating an action plan that will ensure project completion in an efficient and timely manner. Project Management: I have experience collaborating cross-functionally with professionals at all levels of an organization. I love planning & overseeing major projects & making sure they are completed within a timely manner & on budget for consulting clients. I absolutely love connecting with new people!
